ComedySportz Returns to SHS to Benefit MAP

Put some comedy on your calendar for MAP.

ComedySportz™, the bay area's most popular improv comedy experience, returns to the McAfee Center to benefit the SHS Media Arts Program. Last year's performance was a huge success and we expect this one to top it.

Named Editor's Choice by The Wave Magazine and Best Local Theatre by The Metro's Best of the Silicon Valley, the show is an interactive comedy experience where improv's sharpest and quickest players compete for audience laughs and points while improvising scenes, games, operas and musicals based on audience suggestions.

A referee calls fouls and keeps the match moving at a blistering pace. The audience is always a part of the interactive show, voting for the winners and sometimes even winding up on stage.

Designed for all ages, the non-stop, over-the-top battle of wits is a great way to kick off the new year and have some fun before settling into the new semester.

The award-winning ComedySportz™ team will perform at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2012 in the McAfee Center. Tickets are available online or in the activities office at school for $10 each. Get yours today and get ready for some awesome comedy action.

Thanks to all who came out to support MAP by attending the ComedySportz night in January. We had a great crowd and raised over four thousand dollars for the Media Arts Program. It was a great success and we look forward to doing it again next year. See you then!
